The particular Arutas beach, which extends for several hundred meters, owes its peculiarity to the sand, composed of small, round quartz grains, with shades of colors that alternate between pink, light green and white.
Like the other beaches of the Sinis-Montiferru, it is one of the favorite destinations for surfers, that ply its waters with the board. The backdrop, pretty deep right from the shore, takes on a deep green and blue that turns into blue and offers a highly visible marine life scenario since the first meters, with small schools of fish. In some coves of the long beach of Is Arenas, you can see parts of the coast with sand formed by white grains of rice and a very clean and clear water.
